A Busy, Busy Week!
"Gender equality is a fundamental right but it is not yet the reality for many" - Countess of Wessex
Welcome back, lovelies! Let’s dive right in…
It was a busy week for Kate:
First, she made a previously unannounced visit to the Sunshine House at Evelina London in Southwark on Thursday to see how the Family Nurse Partnership benefits young mothers in the area.
Kate’s work with early years, nursing, and mental health was on full display during this visit. One royal reporter, Richard Palmer, said that Kate launched a discussion about the attachment theory with a roundtable of healthcare professionals.
Later on Thursday, it was revealed that Kate would be on that evening’s episode of Blue Peter on CBBC to announce the winner of her Back to Nature design competition. She’d previously announced the contest during her June appearance on the show.
It was a great way to engage young people in nature and outdoor activities.
Plus, it’s always nice when a Jessica wins something.
And the BAFTA goes to…
William opened the BAFTA Piccadilly office space and their Behind the Screens exhibition on Monday.
William has been the president of BAFTA since 2010. During his visit he met with British creative talent and scholarship winners, and was gifted a pair of Villanelle’s pyjamas.
I am pleased I had the opportunity to meet some of the fantastic British talent who were instrumental in creating the iconic works on display in the exhibition. It’s safe to say that I felt quite underdressed when stood in front of those Killing Eve costumes!
Is anyone else imaging Kate back at Kensington Palace like:

Kate continued to do a lot of work behind the scenes this week with the Royal Foundation.
On Wednesday, she held a Trustees Meeting; and on Friday, she met with Jason Knauf, the CEO of the Foundation, then held an Early Years meeting.
Next week, Will and Kate will travel to Birkenhead to attend the naming service for the RSS Sir David Attenborough.
And we finally have confirmation of when their visit to Pakistan will take place, thanks to this roundabout announcement that comes with an engagement announcement for October 2:

If I were Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, I’d never work a day in my life. But she has a luxury children’s fashion line that is super stylish, so:
